ASSET Reliability Division – Junior Structural Engineer/Technologist

CWA Engineers Inc. (CWA) is an industry-leading consulting engineering firm that provides services in the ports and marine terminals, and mining, infrastructure, and wood products industries to clients across North America and around the world.

With our expanding client base and growing project needs, CWA is looking to add a qualified Junior Structural Engineer/Technologist to our growing ASSET Reliability Division.

The Junior Structural Engineer will work under the direction of the ASSET Reliability Division Manager. Duties will include performing equipment and facility inspections, compiling and writing reports, preparing designs, and coordinating with internal and external parties.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (structural) and eligibility for registration as an EIT/Technologist with APEGBC/ASTTBC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with co-workers, clients, and contractors.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willing to work with a team to complete field inspections of heavy industrial equipment.
