We are looking to add one structural engineer to our team. This position will be based in our Saskatoon office.

Position overview:

As an integral member of our structural team, your role will include preparing designs, specifications, technical reports, capital cost estimates, and schedules. You will also be responsible for conducting field inspections and coordinating with internal and external parties for both project work and business development. You are a well-rounded individual who is motivated to be involved in the complete spectrum of a project.

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering and registration or eligibility for registration as a professional engineer with APEGS.
  • Five to ten years of relevant design experience including a familiarity with structural support structures for process equipment, material handling systems, and industrial buildings.
  • Five to ten years of experience conducting inspections and repairs for industrial infrastructure.
  • The ability to complete small structural projects independently.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • A demonstrated ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
  • The ability to travel to job sites on a short-term basis and accommodate occasional evening work.
