CWA has been actively involved in combined heat and power (CHP) plants for pulp mills, saw mills and plywood plants including wood waste fired co-generation plants. We provided engineering and project management services to dismantle, relocate and install a complete co-generation plant (7.5MW) from Oregon, USA to White River, Ontario. As well, CWA completed a 20MW turbo-generator installation for Canfor's Intercon Pulp in Prince George, B.C. and engineered a 20MW wood waste fired co-generation plant for Tolko Industries (previously Riverside Forest Products) in Armstrong, B.C. CWA has also conducted many feasability studies involving bio-mass co-generation plants for clients in the Forest Industries as well as independent power producers. CWA also has the experience and track record in the reconditioning of sound, used equipment and sourcing cost effective equipment from overseas and enhancing the capital effectiveness of selected capital projects.
